Once a month, in 2019 and 2020, I wrote a blog post for the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS). The entries were often shorter versions of longer topics covered in my A Veteran Teacher’s Lessons. Occasionally, I included book and movie reviews, entries that commemorated heroes, or lessons as we entered the COVID crisis.
